This will be the last article about the kellemarie.com keyword case study. If you missed the previous two articles you can read the first one about the traffic boost that www.kellemarie.com recieved thanks to JohnChow.com and the second one about how I got a traffic boost thanks to an article about Kellemarie.com.
Kellemarie.com became my top keyword after writing the second article about her website. This happened because the second article I wrote got on the first page of Google for the keyword “Kellemarie.com”. Now, if you make a search for the given keyword, I have the 6th and 7th position on the first page ( and both of my articles are listed ). This happens not only for Google in english but also for most of the other languages.
When I wrote the second article about Kellemarie.com, 5.69% of all visitors reaching my blog through search engines were actually searching for kellemarie’s website.
I thought that this was only a phenomenon lasting for a few days but I was wrong:

As you can see from the image above, most of my search engine traffic is coming from “kellemarie.com”, “www.kellemarie.com” and a few reach Linkrain by searching for “kellemarie” or “www.kellemarie”. These 4 keywords togheter, have a share of 15.77% of my whole search engine traffic!
Another reason why I got so much traffic from this keywords could be that kellemarie.com seems to be banned from Google. In fact, if you do a search for it in Yahoo, “www.kellemarie.com” is on the first place of the first search result page. If you make the same search in Google, you won’t find it (also link:www.kellemarie.com and site:www.kellemarie.com don’t give any results).
Google is the most used search engine in the world, so, if kellemarie.com got banned, people will visit the results they get on the first page for the searched term. This should be the major reason why I am getting hundreds of visitors each week for this keywords.
As I wrote at the beginning of this article, this is the last time I’m going to write about kellemarie.com. Anyway, it wouldn’t be a surprise if even this article gets listed on the first page of Google in a few days, after it get’s indexed by the spider. If this happens, the traffic will increase even more…
