Here are some blog updates I’ve performed in the last 7 days. By scrolling down this post you will also find “Future Updates”, “Contest Updates” and “Statistiscs Updates”.

• FULL FEED IS NOW AVAILABLE. Finally I’ve managed to install the plugin to display the full text feed even if you truncate your posts with the Wordpress “<-more->” function.
• I’ve added a “Plugim” button next to each post (in a few hours you can read an article about the reason I did this). You don’t have to be registered to vote for my articles, just hit the “Plug” button and the plug count will increase.
• I’ve added a link in the sidebar with the title “what is RSS?” ove the feed button, you can read here why I did this.
• The feed button in the sidebar has changed
• I’ve changed the feed counter from orange to green…I like green color
• I’ve installed 3 new plugins: All in one SEO Pack which you can use to customize the description, title and keywords for each single post and also for the main page of your blog. The subscribe to comments plugin, you can read more about it here. The full text feed plugin.
• “Post views” are now displayed at the top of each post and also on Linkrain’s main page.
• The background color of the blog has changed (but I think that 99% of you did not notice that )

Future updates:

• I don’t know how many of you have ever seen the Linkrain Web Directory. I’ve paid a designer 400$ (!) to make a new web 2.0 style custom template. It should be ready in a week or two.
• I will add a “subscribe to the RSS feed via email” button in the sidebar very soon.
• I will add another button in the sidebar pointing to the “Questions and Answers” post to inform new visitors about the possibility to ask me a question through the contact form.

Contest Update:

• The contest where you can win 50$, will end in 2 days and only 9 people have entered it yet. The chance to win the 50 bucks is still high. The 1st of July I will announce the winner and publish a “batch” linking to all the blogs that have reviewed Linkrain.
• If you want a particular anchor text for your backlink, send me an email through the contact form with your blog url, the review url and your desired anchor text.
• There will be probably a new contest in July.

Statistics Update:

• Linkrain is now ranking lower than 50.000 in Alexa!
• I’m very close to enter Technorati’s TOP 10.000 blogs! Current ranking is 13.199.
• Only one month after adding the “MyBlogLog” widget in the sidebar, Linkrain is already counting 35 community members and 6 “Admirers”. You can join the community by clicking the “Join this Community” button at the bottom of the MyBlogLog widget .
• The average unique visitors/day and pageviews/day increased since May even if I did not have the same time to blog I had in May.
