Plugim is a new social bookmark website that let’s you “plug” interesting stories and share them with other plugim users. It works exactly like Digg even if it has a very nice feature that in Digg is missing (or at least I don’t know about it): if you run a quality blog and you write unique content, you can submit your RSS Feed to Plugim and it will be pending for approval. If your feed gets approved, you won’t have to submit your stories and articles in the future because Plugim will pubblish them directly for you.

The site is very new but already starts to recieve very good traffic. With only a few plugs(4-6) you can make a story popular and bring it on the first page, this will drive a fair amount of traffic to your website. One of my stories “How to make 9.000$/month by designing Wordpress themes” made it on the first page of Plugim as soon as I submitted it and now it’s on the second position of “the most popular stories of the month“.

A big difference between social bookmark site like Digg and Plugim is that on the second, SEO articles are welcome. On Digg you succeed to get on the main page only if you write some news that nobody else has written before you or if you find some really interesting pictures or videos. That’s why the traffic you recieve from Plugim (even if it’s ridiculous considering the traffic you can get from Digg) can be considered more valuable.

There are two different ways to earn some money with Plugim:

• Adsense revenue sharing

Whenever anyone views a story that you posted to PlugIM, there is a 50% chance your Google Adsense ID will be used. If the ads are clicked, you receive the revenue.
As a preventative measure, as long as you are logged in to your PlugIM account, you will never see your own ads. This feature prevents you from clicking on your own Google ads accidentally (which will get your Adsense account deactivated).
If your ID is used, it’s used for all the Adsense blocks on that page to comply with Google’s guidelines.

• Editorial tips through Paypal

Write an editorial by clicking Submit Story and skip step 1 by clicking continue without entering a URL. Type up your editorial in the description field and submit it. An editorial is your own original article on anything relating to internet marketing.
 Anyone who reads your editorial will see a PayPal donation link at the end of the article asking the reader to consider providing a tip to the author if they found the editorial useful.

As you can see from the Alexa graph for Plugim, the site is becoming very popular. Submitting some good stories now could bring a lot of visitors to your articles in the future.
