“Do not line up images and ads in a way that suggests a relationship between the images and the ads”

Because of some changes in Google Adsense TOS you are not allowed anymore to place images near the ad that suggests a relationship between the image and the ad. As you can see in the picture on the left side, the ads about fruit are associated with images showing a fruit or a fruit related theme.
“You can definitely place Google ads on pages containing images — just make sure that the ads and images are not arranged in a way that could easily mislead or confuse your visitors”
Following this rules would meen that you can place images near your ads that are NOT associated with the ad itself though they are lined up.
Placing an image of a rabbit near a real estate ad isn’t against the new Adsense image policy and will definitely increase your CTR, maybe not the same way like an image that has some relationship with the ad shown, but even a little CTR increase means MORE REVENUE.

Though, Google banned one of my clients for using such images. Not related to ads, just simple icons of mp3 player, computer mouse and so on.
So, we had to switch to another PPC.
