A few days ago I wrote an article about how everyone can easily make 500$/month by selling links in a forum signature. This is not the only way to make some money out of your forum account.

The next step, after you have sold all signature links, is to get some money for your avatar.

 The avatar is the small image that will be displayed everytime you post in a thread or open a new discussion. It’s thought to get some direct “type in” traffic and considering that people pay quite good for it, it should work (I have not tried it yet). Prices range from 3$/month to 30$/month if you have a good post amount (you will need at least 4.000-5.000 posts to get 30$/month for the avatar space).

Another space that can be sold is the “recent blog” line you can see in the image above. This line displays (through the RSS feed of your blog) the last post you have made. Prices paid for the recent blog line are very similar to the avatar prices.

Finally, on the upper right side there is a line called “location”.

It’s unbelievable that webmasters sell also this line. You won’t get more than 5-15$/month for that line because you can’t even place a link there but only write down the url of your website.

By adding the money you can earn by renting the “avatar”, “location line” and “recent blog line” to the money you can make by selling links in your forum signature, this would make a total of 575$ each month just for posting in forums .
