“Make money online blogs” are becoming a new internet phenomenon. It really seems that every morning a few hundred people wake up and decide to create a blog about “how to make money online”. Most of these blogs die after only a few months while others become very popular and their readership increases rapidly. At least 99% of these “make money online blogs” have useless and duplicate content and I consider them just “low quality blogs” .
There are some really popular blogs about how to make money online and they are well established since a few years. Some of them have maybe 10-20 interesting articles while the rest of their content is not informative and boring. But what about this “new money blogs”? They are all the same. They never write about something new. Each “make money online” blog is doing nothing else than copying the popular “make money online” blogs.
Make money online blogs are crap but…many of them have success!
Why?
They are using some really good tricks. Let’s examine three bloggers to see which are the best tricks to create a successful “make money online blog”:
1) Kumiko
- Blogging girls have more success. Kumiko was asked a lot of times about her (or his) identity and she/he always stated to be a girl but she/he never proved it.
- She/he is posting her weekly earnings…but there is NO PROOF for this earnings.
2) Carlocab
- “Make money online with a 13 year old”…great trick. Read his articles, do you really think he is 13?
3) Mubinahmed
- This blog is actually doing nothing else than taking articles written by John Chow and rewrite them.
Do these three blogs have some interesting content? No
Do they publish any proof of earnings? No
Do these bloggers give their readers any proof about their identity? No (even if Mubinahmed does)
Do they have success? Yes
So, if you are going to start a “make money online blog”, follow these quick tips to make it successful:
- Tell your readers that you are not older than 10 years old and that you have great tactics on how to make money online.
- Tell them that you are a girl, you don’t have to proof it…most of your readers will just beleive you.
- You don’t need to write original articles, just subscribe to the RSS Feed of the Big “make money online blogs” and write the same things they write about, with your own words.
- Publish your earnings! It does not matter if you are earning 5$ a month…just make a weekly post where you write something like this:
Adsense: 5.500$
ReviewMe: 3.000$
Affiliate: 2.500$
Kontera: 2.000$
Direct Link Sales: 1.500$
Who cares if this information is real or not. Most of your visitors won’t ask you for a proof but will just leave a comment saying “wow, great job” and subscribe to your RSS Feed.
The only difficult think could be to get your very first readers. If some people come to your blog and see that you don’t have any comments on it, they could think that it is full of worthless content.
But wait!
Kumiko has the solution!
Create a few fake names and then go writing comments for your own posts! Sure it’s sneaky, but what an awesome way to give the appearance of a site with a large readership! Take it to the next level and start your own interesting debates in the comments which take the opposite opinion of your post. By writing your own comments, you’re showing visitors and advertisers that you’ve got a readership who cares about what you write and they may even be inclined to write their own opinion in the comments. Remember: Success breeds success!
Thanks to this final awesome tip, your blog will look like a “Big One” even after the first day of blogging! Just spend some hours writing your own comments, replying to yourself and give a feedback to yourself!
That’s it, now you should know everything on “how to create a successful make money online blog”.

Nice Article and well said that its one of the most common phenomenon that is going on . From the last 2 years or so the money making sites have developed . This may be from email sending websites or may be they can be clicking on advertisement sites . Or Even some blogs as well .
I think you have done a great job in writing this article . Thanks Linkrain for the information
nice , I like the way you write about this fact, 100% true
Hehehe…I’ve been to Kumiko’s blog and true enough, earnings are there but content wise…not much different from every “make money online” blogs are writing. Is it REALLY necessary to tell the whole world about how much a person is earning from their blog? Hmm…
I like your sarcasm:) That’s was funny. I sort of wonder, now, if they really do make enough to compensate for the time writing/regurgitating posts, responding three or four times to themselves, and even keeping a forum going for themselves. I bet Kumiko doesn’t make very much per hour.
I can’t help noticing, though, that you’ve written a few other posts inspired by Kumiko and, at least indirectly, John Chow. You’re probably not giving them lots of money by your readership, but they’re giving you plenty of fodder for your blog:)
I must say —- WOW!! long and detail you really hooked that one. I must credit you with your honest and interesting post. “Making Money Online” i really hate this when someone offering tips but in the end just rob you blind. For me i rather blog about what i like, there’s nothing more fun and easy and the same time earn few bucks and keep my mouth shut.
@AniNartuo: I blog about what I like too. As you can see I have a category called “make money online”, but I’m not going to post my earnings there whithout a proof.
@Valerie: Oh, you are right. They are the favorite subjects I write about in my “Internet Gossip” category
@Internet Marketing Solution: if I would decide to post my earnings, my readership would increase rapidly…many readers want to see this sign on blogs: “$$$$$$$$$$$$$”. If they see it, they subscribe to your RSS. Maybe it’s not even a fault of this “make money online” blogs to publish they earnings. A “make money online” blog should show people how to make money online and give a PROOF of the earnings.
@Ravi Singh and alamster: Thanks for positive feedback
By the way, I think I’m going to install some of those “Deep comment” plugins so that I can answer comments of you all, directly
Damn, Andreas, you really deflated my sails today with this one…I must be just following the crowd with my ‘making money’ blog…
However, I think you’re pretty much spot on with your comments. It seems hype, trickery, or copy-and-edit still work. Probably still will, for a good time to come.
I’m just hoping I don’t fall into your boring or dead blog categories down the road…
LOL nice article. Maybe I should change my blog title into ‘Make Money Online with a 10-year-old girl with IQ of 300′. And paste a girl’s face with fake thick frame glasses in the about page. That should get people’s attention. Who knows sarcasm might do the trick
@affzan: Hehehe…you might be on to something here. Maybe if we put our age to less than 10 years old;it might even bring in additional tons of traffic eh?
@admin: What you’re saying makes sense in a way….everyone is motivated by $$$…more so when when you want more people to be your loyal readers/subscribers when you have a “make money online” blog.
@affzan: Hey affzan, you could really try this for some weeks and see how it works
@Artifexus: I’ve checked your blog, it does not seem to be one of these classical “make money online blogs” full of useless posts.
Nice Article.
But if you check out my site, I do actually post proof of my earnings…
Also I admit that I took a video from John Chow regarding the agloco viewbar, but that was because he released it…
Nice blog btw, love the theme
Well Mubin, actually you copied more than 1 article from John Chow. Nearly have of your content are just rewritten articles. I was one of your readers but after a few originale articles, you started posting about the same things John Chow wrote about some hours before. That’s why I unsubscribed from your blog…because I could get that info from Jhon Chow.
I actually did not wonder about this. You already copied a lot of my ideas from DP
( and you did not copy only the idea, but also my text to sell your Wordpress themes)
Well, isn’t this just special. Shame, shame, shame on those of you who are scamming everyone else who are trying to make a few more dollars a month so they can pay their bills, keep the heat on in the winter, maybe go out once a month to the movies, etc. There’s a book by David Callahan, entitiled - “The Cheating Culture - Why More Americans Are Doing Wrong To Get Ahead”. I am sure you’re listed amongst the cheats in his book. Can you actually look yourselves in the mirror? You’re fakes, frauds and deceitful. Have you ever heard the adage - What comes around, goes around? Well??????
I wrote this article in a “sarcastic style” but you seem to be really angry with those “make money online” bloggers…
i will apply what you say right now! i didn’t even earn 1$ but who cares! i am a 12 years old geniuos making money online in a month … hmm let’s say 1400$ for now.. so i can assure my future university education.. eheh :)))
Hey! nice article but i can say this is a controversial issue, and there is lot of debate on this to make money through blog. We know that from last couple of year this blog hype is going on I have heard many peoples have left their good earning jobs and had started blogging to make money, might many or some of them are successful in their blog business, but still we can’t blame anyone who are putting up wrong information on their blog and making money. The visitors should be smart enough to know to appreciate or not to appreciate if they have come up to any new blog like this.
If there is a thing I hate it’s “wrong infromation”. Not all internet users are experienced users and many of them could beleive these information and help those “make money online” bloggers to make money. I don’t have anything against those kind of bloggers but most of them should really stop it to fool people just to make a few bucks.
You owe me a new keyboard, I spilt coffee over it laughing.
Yay to 10 year old girlie bloggers who know about making money online. Wheeee!
Lol.
Anyway, someone of us should really try this technique for real to see how it goes
[…] the controversy started when he wrote this blog post about make money online blogs being crap. Fair […]
Wow nice analysis. I was thinking the same thing about those blogs, but never thought of writing an article about it, but it was really interesting reading it.
ds is a very nice article, i gonna try it and i would let you know if it work.
I see a lot of the same stuff on SEO blogs as well. Good Article
