Plugim is new social bookmark site (the domain is only 1 year old) that fits perfectly for webmaster related blogs. The big difference between this social bookmark site and others is that it is nearly impossible to get on the first page of Digg,Reddit and the other of the major ones if you run a webmaster related blog, while you can get on the first page of Plugim just with a few votes. People on Digg and Reddit are much more interested in articles about technology or “curiosities”. Most Plugim visitors are interested in webmaster and internet marketing related articles, that’s why it also brings a quite good amount of traffic if you submit unique and interesting articles. Another great feature is that you can submit your blog feed once you have registered. If your feed gets approved, you won’t have to add your articles manually. Even if Plugim is not very popular yet, the inflow of traffic is increasing every day as you can see from this graph:

Recently I also wrote an article about how you can make money with this Adsense revenue sharing social bookmark site. Today I checked Plugim while I was searching for a plugin to add a vote box on my blog and I discovered a section called “Top Users” in the right sidebar on the homepage. After clicking it and sorting users by “points” (I have actually no idea how you can earn points with Plugim and the “FAQ” is still under construction) I noticed that I’m ranking first in the top users list with 20 points!

Now you could think that the Plugim community is very small but actually there are already 2.000 registered members. It’s not bad to rank as top publisher out of other 2.000 users, I’m very proud of this result.

And that’s not all. Some of my articles are on the page containing the “most popular stories in 365 days“. I hope to stay there as long as possible, that’s why I’ve added a “Plugim vote box” next to each article. It seems that you don’t have to be registered with Plugim to vote for an article you like (even if I prefer it like this, I think they will change this as soon as the site becomes bigger). So just hit the “plug” botton and you will se the counter increase.
