After collecting some suggestions at Digitalpoint about my blog, I made some updates today.
- Header has changed into a Web 2.0 style header
- I deactivated the “buy me a coffee” plugin. Nobody bought me a coffee and the long link was not looking good at the end of the articles
- I removed the Adsense Link Unit at the end of all posts (layout is cleaner now)
- I added a view counter next to the comment counter. You can now see how many times an article has been read (of course the view count is only precise for new articles because older posts have already been read a lot of times).
- I added a “bookmark” button at the end of each post so that you can easily bookmark articles that you like.
- It is now possible to Advertise on this blog
- I changed the RSS Feed button into a Web 2.0 design button
- Some smaller CSS and layout changes

Love the new header - looks awesome. Also really like the 2.0 RSS button - adds a lot to the right column.
Good move on the Buy Me a Coffee too. I occasionally add a Buy Me a Beer to my posts, but it hasn’t been successful at all. I don’t think I’ll be pursuing that one in the future….
Excellent updates,

I don’t like the underline for images. Also the 50$ contest image should have its corners transparent. Hope you don’t get upset because of my comment.
Hi Adrian,
do you mean “underline” with the mouse over the image?
And what do you mean with transparent corners? Actually the image has no corners…
The image was made by drawing a black box on a white (instead of transparent) background, so when you rounded the corners for the black box the corners pulled away from the white background. If you look in the corners, you can see the original white background shows because your sidebar color is gray.
Hope that helps.
Yes Valerie, that helps! I really did not see this. Thank you
No problem–it’s not a big thing, but one of those things that adds polish:)

Looks great Andrew!
Thank you Sandra
I still have to change the “contest button”.
