Blending Adsense ads is one of the main rules you have to follow if you want to earn some money with it. Basic blending can be done by using the same colors you use for your website. The background of the Adsense block should be the same color as your template background, the link color of the ads should always be the same of the links in your content, and finally the description of the ads has to be same color of your content.

Many experiments on Google Adsense have proved that blending is the best method to increase the click through rate and to fight the “Ad Blindness” of many internet users. “Ad Blindness” means that people visit your website and they immediately see the difference between your content and your advertisementes so that they will probably not click on them.

Today I made some research to find some new Adsense blending techniques and I came across a very interesting blog specialized in blending advertisements with an image background.

The blog is very well made, there are different techniques for different Adsense Formats. Every blending techique is carefully explained and also includes the image background, the color codes (so that you can easily change them without making a screenshot to know the color code) the CSS code and finally the HTML code you have to use to get a certain result.

Here are some of my favourite blending techniques I found on this blog:

These are only a few examples on how you can have great and elegant results by using a background image to blend Adsense ads. The blog features a lot of different techniques for every format. I think it is must for all those webmasters using Google Adsense.

This is a nice tip. My click-through rate is very low so I’ll try it. I’ll let you know if I get results.

    Best wishes.
