Some days ago I made a screenshot of the predicted page rank for Linkrain for the next Google update. I used this prediction tool because it seems to be the most reliable one after trying out tons of other tools.

The title of iwebtool’s google page rank prediction tool asserts that “This predictor tool does what it says, it predicts your future Google PageRank”. Once you insert the URL you want to predict the page rank for, you will get another message: “PLEASE NOTE: This tool will provide an estimation of the future PageRank and should not be considered precise”

One one side they are saying ” our tool works and will predict your page rank for the next Google update” but on the other side they are telling us that “the predicted page rank should not be considered precise”. To test the reliability of this tool I chose 5 major sites of the www and predicted the page rank for them.

Here are the results:

Page rank prediction test

Considering that Google is the creator of PageRank , why should their site go down to page rank 9? Or Apple’s website go down to page rank 7? This prediction tool also shows the “accuracy” of the prediction but, in my honest opinion, the results are still absurd.
