Building a quality blog is not very difficult but you will need time and a good knowledge of the topics you are going to write about in your articles.

When I started this blog I focused on all the topics I read about for years and decided wich ones where the best and most interesting to write about. Once you have decided all the subjects you will write about in your blog, make sure to update your knowledge about them.

What are the most important factors to create a quality blog?

  • Original content

Write articles about a subject that you know quite good so that you are able to give as much information as possible. You will produce only poor quality aticles if you are going to write about subjects you don’t know anything about.

  • Frequency

Write at least a one interesting article every day so that your readers can see that you are pubblishing regularly quality content. It is better to write one article a day instead of writing 10 posts in one single day and than don’t write anything for a week. This will help you to increase the number of readers rapidly and to keep them.

  • Write your own content

I came across a lot of blogs that take the content from famous blogs, change it a bit and finally pubblish it as a new article. This is something you should only do if you really have nothing to write about. Anyway it won’t help you to get new readers. You can also write about something you saw on another blog and give credit to the author but consider that in this case you will help his blog more than yours

  • Keep the blog spam free

Don’t pubblish spam comments and don’t accept to review low quality websites. I would not accept to review a low quality website even for 100-200$.

  • Make it easy to read

Keep the layout clear and simple. A white background is always better than a dark background cause it’s much easier to read. Use a simple and clean layout. Don’t fill every empty space of your blog with advertisements.

  • Interact with your readers

Ask your readers what they think about something you wrote. Answer comments of your readers. I would not get back to a blog where I ask a question to the article writer and he is not answering it.

  • Make it personal

If you write an article about something, you are writing it from your point of view. Don’t get angry if some readers won’t agree with you. Discuss about it, listen to your readers and learn from their tips.

  • Have fun

If you don’t like blogging and you don’t have fun, don’t do it. I consider blogging a hobby and I have fun by practicing one of my hobbies.

Considering point number 6 (interact with your readers), what do you think about these quick tips? ;)

That’s the same way I think about it, sister :)
The point is that actually many big blogs that have already a lot of readers, don’t care anymore about them. That’s really sad.

By the way, if you don’t want to come back to my blog by typing the URL in your browser, you can subscribe tu my RSS feed ;)

I’m always happy to get a new reader.
